About the course

Aim of the course

The Master’s training offer in “Artificial Intelligence and its Applications (I2A)” makes it possible to acquire the essential knowledge in order to enrich the skills in fundamental computer science and the techniques necessary to train a computer specialist specializing in intelligence. artificial (AI). We offer subjects in computer science such as advanced algorithms and complexity, advanced graphs. In statistical and probabilistic modeling such as the subject of modeling and simulation and the subject of decision under uncertainty. In networks and security such as the two subjects wide area networks and network security. In artificial intelligence, we offer the subjects: Artificial intelligence: principles and applications, machine learning, deep learning, problem solving and combinatorial optimization, as well as the subject multi-agent systems. As applications of artificial intelligence, we choose the following subjects: artificial vision, natural language processing, cloud computing, big data, internet of things. In addition, we offer a project or mini-project for each subject to allow students to test their theoretical skills on application issues in artificial vision, computer security, marketing, health, robotics, education, transport , agriculture, web search, recommendation systems, video games, scientific computing, etc. At the same time, we suggest enriching the student’s course with subjects in entrepreneurship and business creation, foreign languages and scientific writing.

At the end of this training, graduates of the Master I2A will be able to:

  • Acquire the fundamental theory of automatic learning, deep learning, by bio-inspired and metaheuristic models and multi-agent systems.
  • Master the basic concepts of programming intelligent systems and development languages in this sense.
  • Translate a real problem into a machine learning, bio-inspired or multi-agent problem, choose the appropriate model to solve this problem as well as the optimization algorithm and the adequate parameters for each model.
  • Interpret modeling results and improve the generalization performance of learning models.

Dissertation (End of study project)

In the 4thsemester of the study, the student has to achieve a project for his end-of-study accompanied by an internship in a company, which will prepare him for a professional integration. At the end of his project, the student must write a consistent thesis to present in detail his work.
