About the course

Aim of the course

Train future scientists to conduct research in environmental and food security fields to promote sustainable agriculture that respects the environment. This agriculture should produce sufficient food to meet the needs of thousands while preserving and enhancing natural resources vital for the well-being of current and future generations.

Targeted knowledge

  • Acquiring advanced expertise is crucial to improve human nutrition while preserving the environment for future generations.
  • Researching adaptation solutions to climate change, aligned with local policies.
  • Understanding the likelihood of success for different types of agricultural practices in each agro-ecological region of the country is necessary, allowing local authorities to integrate incentives into their policy programs to encourage farmers to adopt climate-adaptive farming practices, thereby maximizing profitability.

Dissertation (End of study project)

Students undertake practical internships and projects focusing on the valorization of local biological and agri-food resources, particularly optimizing yields and promoting the sustainable exploitation of biological resources.
