Library Presentation

The Library of the late Mujahid Dembri Abdelrahmane was the first library to open its doors to students when the University of Mila was inaugurated in December 2008. It welcomed all university students and covered all existing fields at the time: economics, management sciences, Arabic literature, English language, mathematics, and computer science, with a capacity exceeding 600 students. It provided services to all students and teachers of the university for about nine years.
– In January 2017, the opening of the central library led to its transformation into a specialized library called the “Library of Science and Technology,” dedicated to students of natural and life sciences.
– In 2024, it became exclusively dedicated to students of science and technology, containing books on biology and geology in all their specializations, as well as works in civil engineering, hydraulics, mechanics, and others. It now serves all students and professors in these fields.
