Missions of the Institute

Institute of Economic Sciences, Commercial, and Management has been established with the creation of the University Center in July 2008, by Executive Decree No. 08-204 of July 9, 2008. Its mission is to provide courses of students in various economic, commercial, and management disciplines. During the academic year 2018/2019, the number of students at the Institute reached 2816 students, supervised by 86 faculty members.

Departments

 Today, the Institute has three departments:

  • Department of Economics.
  • Department of Commercial Sciences.
  • Department of Management Sciences.

Courses offers

The institute of economic sciences provides courses that cover the three cycles: License, Master, and Doctorate.
During the first year of university, the student receives the basic courses in the fields of economics, management, and business sciences, and this, during two semesters (S1 and S2). A from the second year, the student joined one of the branches at the institute:

Courses in Bachelor

1. Branch of Management Science: includes 02 specialties

  • Business Administration.
  • Financial management.

2. Branch of Finance and accounting: includes 01 specialty

  • Accounting and Taxation

3. Branch of Economic Sciences: includes 02 specialties

4. Branch of Commercial Sciences:  includes 01 specialty

Courses in Master

1. Branch of Management Science: includes 02 specialties

2. Branch of Finance and Accounting: includes 01 specialty

3. Branch of Economic Sciences: includes 01 specialty

  • Monetary and banking economics.

4. Branch of Commercial Sciences:  includes 01 specialty

  • Services marketing.

Doctoral courses

During the academic year 2017/2018, 08 doctoral students were admitted to the branch of management sciences, a specialty of financial management.
During the 2018/2019 academic year, 09 doctoral students were admitted to the branches of management sciences, financial management, human resources management, and business administration.

Scientific Research

The research activities of the institute’s research fellows and doctoral students are supervised and supported by the Laboratory of studies of economic diversification strategies for sustainable development.
